Togouchi unveil a new finish edition for 2025 !

September often comes with new launches within the Togouchi range of Japanese whiskies. Indeed, a new and unprecedented finish will be added to the already wide range of blended whiskies. Fully distilled in Japan, in the stills of the Sakurao distillery, this new release is also aged in the heart of an old railway tunnel.
Togouchi Rum Cask Finish will be launched for this end of year ! Made of a blend of 15% of malt whisky and 85% grain whisky made from unmalted barley, this new expression once again demonstrates the know-how of the Sakurao distillery in terms of innovative finishes. Aged initially in bourbon barrels, like the entire Togouchi range, it is then refined for 18 months in Jamaican rum barrels in order to extract maximum aromas and complexity. This new development is the result of a long process of adjustment carried out by the Sakurao distillery teams to determine the maturation time as well as the ideal degree of bottling to guarantee the perfect balance. This is how, for the first time, a blend from the range is bottled at 43°! This new release reveals sweet and gourmet notes of vanilla and custard and brings a touch of exotism to this already complete range of Japanese whiskies.
True to the refined, pure and elegant identity of the Togouchi brand, this new product will be available on the cellar and e-commerce network from October 2025. Do not be late, this edition is available in limited quantities !
