It surely has not escaped your attention that Togouchi often stands out in the collections of spirits connoisseurs thanks to its iconic bottle. It so closely resembles the other star of Sakurao Distillery, Shochu, that they could easily be confused. Indeed, it was the traditional shape of Shochu containers that inspired the distillery’s experts when they were crafting their first bottles of whisky. Naturally, they decided to replicate this unique glass effect to strengthen their brand identity across all their products.
